Wenhua Huang, Ph.D.

With 20+ years in ceramic processing, microstructure design, and characterization, Wenhua is the driving force behind WATT’s technology development. His involvement begins at conceptual cell and reformer designs to launching a product for commercialization. He established and managed key projects on the R&D Team, which developed the core processes and technology into manufacturable and cost-effective solutions. Over the years at WATT, he led an international team to advance the reforming technology and the integration of fuel cells, achieving industry-leading power densities, efficiencies, and long-term operating stability.

Prior to his work with WATT, Wenhua was a Senior Chemist at Henkel Corporation for conductive adhesive research. He also held the position of Fuel Cell Development Engineer at ND Energy, where he was involved in the development of high-performance micro-tubular SOFC technology.

Wenhua received his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.
